For zone-mapped cities, addresses you enter are sent to the US Census Bureau geocoding service to obtain coordinates. For ReCollect cities, the address query is sent to the city's schedule service. The last-lookup convenience record is stored only in your browser's local storage under trashweek.last: zone-mapped lookups store the city and matched zone, while ReCollect lookups store the city and address query. This site shows ads through Google AdSense; third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies) and Microsoft Clarity to see which features are used. Clarity sets a cookie to link visits and records clicks, scroll depth and screen recordings; text you type into the address box is masked before it is sent. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
