Los Angeles trash pickup holiday schedule 2026
Los Angeles, CA · LA Sanitation & Environment
No holiday this week (as of 2026-11-02). Next: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday 2026-11-26.
LA Sanitation & Environment skips collection on 4 holidays in 2026. In the provider's words: “Most holidays do not change your collection day. For most of the year, you should put your bins out on your normal day. However, for four major holidays in 2026, our Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) crews take a break, which means your pickup will be pushed back by one day. When a major holiday falls on a weekday, everyone’s service is "bumped" one day later for the rest of that week.” (official notice, checked 2026-09-24). Zone pages on this site apply these dates automatically.
